Amphenol is the first connector company in the industry to offer card holders for microSD Express and Micro SD cards (UHS-I). The 17-pin microSD Express connector supports 985MB/s high-speed connectivity and meets PCIe ® 3.0 requirements. This series of connectors leverages the benefits of the microSD Express platform; it supports microSD Express cards for mobile solid state drives (SSDs). This new platform provides an ideal connectivity solution for high-resolution content and high-speed mobile computing and IoT devices. Data rate: 8GT/s (PCIe ® Gen 3 required) with card detection backwards-compatible and interoperable with legacy Micro SD cards.
