1. PBT plastic material PBT plastic material is often used to produce 2.5-pitch 180-degree/90-degree female connector products. The soldering resistance temperature of the plastic terminal housing is only about 200 degrees. However, when these materials are used, the moldability is poor, the shrinkage is serious, the melting temperature is low, and the plastic melting phenomenon will occur during wave soldering. 2. Nylon 66 is a thermoplastic resin, white solid, density 1.14, melting point 253 °C, insoluble in general solvents, only soluble in m-cresol, etc. It has high mechanical strength, hardness and stiffness, and can be used as engineering plastics. The Rockwell hardness is 108-118 and the hot deformation temperature (1814.11 Pa, 18.5 kgf/cm2) is 66-86 °C. Used as mechanical accessories such as gears and lubricated bearings; Instead of non-ferrous metal materials, it can be used as machine housings, automobile engine blades, etc. It can also be used to make synthetic fibers. 3.6 T plastic material Depending on the manufacturer of the connector, this material is usually made of 2.54 pitch patches and 1.27 pitch/2.0 pitch series. The welding temperature is between 260 and 290 degrees. Therefore, the cost of bus connectors produced with this material is slightly higher, and choosing this material is generally the quality requirement of customers. 4.9 T plastic material Connector products using this material have 2.54 pitch connection lines and 1.27 pitch/2.0 pitch series lines. The welding temperature is around 260-300 degrees. Due to the high price of this material, when customers have special requirements, 9T plastic materials are usually used to produce connector products. 5. LCP plastic material is suitable for the production of female connector products with various pitch series, and the welding resistance temperature is between 260-320 degrees. This material has a small linear expansion coefficient, low injection molding shrinkage, good strength and elastic modulus, excellent heat resistance, high load deformation temperature, excellent chemical resistance and air tightness. Therefore, LCP material is the preferred choice for connectors in general, especially those that require SMT. But correspondingly, the price of connector products made of this material will be higher, because the material itself is expensive and requires the technical cooperation of automotive connector manufacturers. Therefore, the use of this material is generally special customer requirements.
