The FFC/FPC connector from Hirose Electric Co Ltd is a high-performance surface mount right-angle connector with a 5-pin design and a pitch of 0.50 mm. The contacts are designed for top and bottom contact and are made of Phosphor Bronze with a gold-plated surface and a thickness of 2.00µin (0.051µm), which ensures excellent conductivity and reliability. Zero Insertion Force (ZIF) operation is supported with flip-lock and back-lock features, making installation and removal easier. The connectors are suitable for FFC/FPC with a thickness of 0.30mm and an on-board height of only 1.00mm, making them ideal for compact design requirements. The housing is made of halogen-free liquid crystal polymer (LCP) and the actuator is polyamide (PA), both of which are UL94 V-0 flammability rated, providing both environmental friendliness and durability. With a rated voltage of 50V and a rated current of 0.5A, they can be used in a wide range of harsh environments with an operating temperature range of -55°C to 105°C. They are also equipped with a fixed soldering device. In addition, the product is equipped with fixed solder tails and tapered cable ends for more stable connection performance, making it an ideal choice for industrial, consumer electronics and automotive applications.
