1、 What is RF?: Radio Frequency (RF) is the abbreviation of Radio Frequency, which refers to the electromagnetic frequency that can radiate into space, ranging from 300 kHz to 300 GHz. Radio frequency is radio frequency current, abbreviated as RF, which is the abbreviation of a high-frequency alternating current electromagnetic wave. An alternating current that changes less than 1000 times per second is called a low frequency current, and one that changes more than 10000 times is called a high frequency current, and radio frequency is such a high frequency current. Radio frequency (300K-300G) is the higher frequency band of high frequency (more than 10 K), and microwave band (300M-300 G) is the higher frequency band of radio frequency. In the theory of electronics, an electric current flows through a conductor, and a magnetic field is formed around the conductor; an alternating current flows through a conductor, and an alternating electromagnetic field is formed around the conductor, which is called an electromagnetic wave. When the frequency of the electromagnetic wave is lower than 100 kHz, the electromagnetic wave will be absorbed by the earth's surface and can not form an effective transmission, but when the frequency of the electromagnetic wave is higher than 100 kHz, the electromagnetic wave can propagate in the air and be reflected by the ionosphere at the outer edge of the atmosphere, forming a long-distance transmission capability. We call the high-frequency electromagnetic wave with long-distance transmission capability as radio frequency. Radio frequency (RF) technology is widely used in the field of wireless communication, and the cable TV system uses RF transmission mode.

How does the 2、 RF antenna work and how does the antenna work?:
1. Antenna principle 1.1 Definition of antenna: a device that can effectively radiate electromagnetic waves to a specific direction in space or effectively receive electromagnetic waves from a specific direction in space. 1.2 Functions of the antenna: Ø Energy conversion-conversion of guided waves and free space waves; Ø Directional radiation (reception)-has some directionality. 1.3 Antenna radiation principle
2. Radio frequency principle 2.1 The most basic RFID system consists of three parts: 2.2. Tag (radio frequency card): It is composed of coupling elements and chips. The tag has a built-in antenna and is used to communicate with the radio frequency antenna; 2.3. Reader: It is a device that reads (can also be written in the read-write card) tag information; 2.4. Antenna: transmits RF signals between the tag and the reader. Some systems are also connected with the external computer (host computer system) through the RS232 or RS485 interface of the reader for data exchange.

What is the 3、 RF cable (RF jumper)?:
RF cable assemblies are made of RF coaxial connectors and flexible cables or semi-rigid and semi-flexible cables, which are widely used in microwave equipment and digital communication equipment. In the RFID system, a large number of RF cable components (such as the connection between the reader and the antenna) are also needed. The cable assembly is suitable for the connection between cabinets and modules. The RF cable assembly is made of RF coaxial connectors and flexible cables or semi-rigid and semi-flexible cables. It is widely used for the connection between microwave equipment and digital cabinets, between antennas and feeder cables, and between feeder cables and cabinets. There are many types and varieties of cable assemblies, and users can also put forward specifications of special requirements in addition to standard cable lengths.
