What does a pressure sensor do?

压力传感器有什么作用?

1, applied to the hydraulic system Pressure sensor in the hydraulic system is mainly to complete the closed-loop control of force. When a control spool moves suddenly, a spike pressure several times the system operating pressure can develop in a very short time. In typical mobile machinery and industrial hydraulics, any pressure sensor will quickly be destroyed if it is not designed for such extreme conditions. The need to use shock-resistant pressure sensors, pressure sensors to achieve shock-resistant there are 2 main methods, one is to change the strain gauge chip, the other method is to external coils, generally used in hydraulic systems, the first method, mainly because of the ease of installation, in addition to the other reason is that the pressure sensor is also to withstand the uninterrupted pressure pulsations from the hydraulic pump. 2. Used in safety control systems Pressure sensors are often used in safety control systems, mainly for the field of air compressor safety management system. In the field of safety control has a lot of sensor applications, pressure sensor as a very common sensor, in the safety control system application is not surprising. In the field of safety control applications generally from the performance aspects to consider, from the price consideration, and from the actual operation of the safety and convenience to consider, the actual proof of the choice of pressure sensors is very good. Pressure sensors using mechanical equipment processing technology will be a number of components and signal conditioners and other devices installed in a very small chip above.

What is the purpose of a pressure sensor?

First of all, pressure sensor and pressure switch are two different concepts, pressure sensor is an analog signal, pressure switch is a digital signal. Pressure sensor will be based on the size of the pressure in the air conditioning system output a 0-4v signal, the control board or CPU according to the actual signal to make the load reduction alarm stopping and other operations. And the pressure switch just provides a digital quantity 0 (on) or 1 (off), some units have both pressure switch and pressure sensor, for example, mcwell whs series chiller, the pressure switch is located in the suction port of the compressor head, and the pressure sensor is in the return air piping, I hope it helps.

What is the purpose of an automotive pressure sensor?

An automotive pressure sensor is a device used to sense intake air pressure, and its function is to convert vacuum changes in the intake manifold into a voltage signal for the ECU computer to correct fuel injection and ignition timing angle. The intake pressure sensor is also known as a pressure sensor (MAP). The intake pressure sensor senses the prevailing intake pressure and feeds it back to the ECU, which commands the actuation system. Its main functions include: 1. adjusting the camshaft to control the opening angle and timing of the intake throttle, i.e. VVT system (Variable Valve Throttle System). 2. adjusting the injection timing to control the wavelength of the intake harmonics, making the intake air smoother. The intake pressure sensor is connected to the intake manifold with a vacuum pipe, and with different engine speeds and loads, it senses the vacuum change in the intake manifold, and then converts the change in resistance inside the sensor into a voltage signal for the ECU computer to correct the fuel injection and ignition timing angle. When the engine is idling, the voltage signal is about 1-1.5V, and when the throttle is fully open, there is about 4.5V voltage signal. Therefore, automotive pressure sensors play a vital role in engine operation.
