Electronic Wire Harness Processing is a manufacturing process in which multiple wires or conductors are organized together and processed and insulated to form a complex wiring system. It is widely used in electronic equipment, automotive, aerospace, communications and industrial applications. The following is the general process flow of electronic wire harness processing and the definition and introduction of electronic wire harness. Design and Planning: First, based on the needs of the specific application, the designer will develop the layout and circuit diagram of the electronic wire harness. This stage usually includes determining the length, shape, connector type and quantity of the harness. Material Preparation: Based on the design requirements, suitable wires and insulation materials are selected. The conductors can be copper or aluminum wires, while the insulation can be polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyurethane (PU) or polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), etc. Wire Cutting and Stripping: The wire is cut to the length required by the design using an automatic cutting machine. Then use the wire stripping machine to remove the insulation layer at both ends of the wire to reveal a certain length of bare wire. Braiding and bundling: The stripped wires are braided together according to the design requirements and secured together using strapping or tying tools to form the basic structure of the entire wire harness. Insulation treatment: Use insulating materials such as insulating sleeves, insulating tapes or heat-shrinkable tubes to insulate the exposed wire portions to prevent short circuits and electrical interference. Connector Installation: According to the design requirements, connectors are installed at appropriate locations in the harness to connect the harness to other parts of the equipment or system. Testing and Quality Control: Tests are performed on manufactured electronic wire harnesses to ensure that their electrical connections and functions work properly. Common testing methods include resistance testing, insulation testing, and connectivity testing. Labeling and Packaging: Labels or identifiers are added to electronic wire harnesses to facilitate proper identification and connection of the harnesses by installation and maintenance personnel. The harness is then packaged and protected to prevent damage during transportation and installation. An electronic wiring harness is a system of multiple wires or conductors. They are usually organized together and wrapped by insulating and protective materials to form a monolithic structure.
