With a patented contact system, the DuraEV is capable of carrying 70 A of continuous current and 10,000 cycles of insertion and removal.The DuraEV is IP67 rated for both mated and unmated conditions, has a power terminal first-mate-last-break (FMLB) feature for finger protection, and a connector positioning assembly (CPA) that ensures secure locking. These connectors have an IP cover for the socket side and an optional IP cover for the plug side to prevent foreign objects from entering.
