The series features a compact, high-temperature resistant and halogen-free SMT package, 18 AWG to 26 AWG wire heights, and a UL94 V-0 flammability rating. These connectors offer up to six 2.5 mm tin-plated, double-beam phosphor bronze contacts that are rugged, long-proven, 4 mm pitch, and are available with UL94 V-0 glass-filled nylon housings in eight colors. They also offer an optional visibility window to allow visual verification of complete wire insertion, and an optional through-hole option in lieu of wire stops to facilitate mating with KYOCERA AVX's 10-9296 series of 1-mm-diameter patch pins. 9296-400 series 4-mm-pitch horizontal poke-home connectors support simple peel-and-plug poke-home insertion and twist-and-pull pull pull-out. The 9296-400 series of 4 mm pitch horizontal poke-home connectors support simple peel-and-plug poke-home insertion and twist-and-pull unplugging, which allows for easy factory and field termination and provides high repeatability, greater mechanical stability, and improved wire retention strength. These connectors can be used in a wide range of industrial and commercial applications, including machine control, commercial buildings, smart grid, and SSL/LEDs, and are rated up to 600 VAC (RMS) or VDC, 6 A to 10 A UL and 4 A to 8 A cUL, with operating temperatures ranging from -40°C to +130°C, and five-insertion/unplugging cycle durability.
