KR Series Wire-to-Board IDC ConnectorsJST's Low Profile 2.0 mm (0.079") Pitch Connectors Feature Folded Beam Double Leaf Contact ConstructionJST's KR Series wire-to-board IDC connectors have a low mounted height of 6.9 mm and a thin thickness of 4.8 mm. They are suitable for a wide variety of electronic applications, such as Blu-ray Disc players, gaming consoles, and communication devices. The 2- to 16-position through-hole and surface-mount polarized headers provide an easy-to-assemble friction locking system. Top-inserted SMT headers are also available with Kapton tape for easy pick-and-place vacuum nozzle operation. This connector system is an ideal alternative to the crimp and pierce PH series for convenient and easy cable assembly. As part of its value-added service, JST also offers standard assemblies with suitable KR series connectors in 1-to-1 and 1-to-multiple wiring orientations at each end. These assemblies are available in lengths of 2", 4", 6", 8", 10" and 12" and utilize 26 AWG blue dual-rated UL1061/10002 conductors in every circuit size from 2 to 16 positions. Custom lengths, wire colors and configurations are available upon request.
