KRD Series Wire-to-Board IDC Daisy Chain ConnectorsJST's 2.0 mm (0.079") pitch daisy chain connector system is suitable for a wide range of applicationsJST's KRD series wire-to-board IDC connectors feature a deformation-resistant construction and incorporate a double U-groove technology for an ideal insulation-piercing connection. With an installed height of only 9.0 mm, this series is suitable for a wide range of electronic applications. The series is a daisy-chain ready system that can be used to simplify electronic connections by matching applicable wires at a 90° angle. 2- to 16-position through-hole and surface-mount polarized headers provide an easy-to-assemble friction-locking system. Top-inserted SMT headers are also available with Kapton tape for easy pick-and-place vacuum nozzle operation.KRD is compatible with 26 AWG and 28 AWG UL1061 and UL1571 type wire insulation.
