The AMC NP includes improved power contacts with USB 2.0 functionality, energy-efficient contacts, a minimum of 2,000 cycles of mating, and a waterproof rating of up to IP68, with a 20 m waterproof version available. Available with solder, crimp or PCB termination options for ease of handling, the rugged breakaway design is an integrated solution for cable assemblies. The connector is ideally suited for tactical soldier batteries, PDUs (Power Distribution Units), CWBs (Wearable Batteries), and C4ISR peripherals used to transfer USB 2.0 signals and power. It is compatible with open architecture standards such as NATO STANAG 4695, Nett Warrior and GOSSRA (Generic Open Architecture Structure) The contact arrangement of the ODU data transfer connector differs from standard data transfer connectors with its robust ODU-specific design.
