This protection is especially important in applications where DC voltages exceed 30 volts and can be a health hazard. The SBS 50 and SBS 75G are available in wire-to-wire configurations, and the SBS 75X is available in wire-to-wire and wire-to-board configurations. Both configurations provide power contacts rated up to 110 amps. The genderless design is self mating and the mechanical engagement is color coded. the SBS 50 has two anti-finger contact positions. the SBS 75G has three anti-finger contact positions. the center position is available for pre-wired or pre-powered. The center position can be used for pre-wired power or grounding. It also has a third ground or power contact that is connected and then disconnected. All contact positions are circuit interrupt rated (hot swappable) The SBS 75X has four secondary and two primary positions that are finger-touch proof. It also provides up to four rear-connected, first-break auxiliary power/signal contacts rated up to 20 amps. All contact positions are circuit interrupt rated (hot swappable).
