Amphenol|Amphenol|Amphenol Connectors Gigabit X® products are a: high-density, low-cost differential connector solution that supports up to 14 GBPS data rates. The Amphenol GbX connector platform is a differential connector that provides a flexible, low-cost design solution for low-speed applications and supports data rates up to 14 Gbps with compatible backwards mating upgrade modules. Gbps data rates through compatible backward mating upgrade modules. Utilizing a wide range of components (power and guides) and equipped with a 1.85mm x L-Series Wafer with 1.85 mm open pinout area, designers have the flexibility to meet their specific needs. The GbX-U backplane upgrade module offers improved electrical performance, reduced crosstalk with a new package and backplane enclosure, and easily scales data rates to 10 Gbps. To support performance rates up to 14 Gbps, the GbX-U connector needs to be mated to the GbX-Twist daughter board upgrade module. GbX-U connectors need to be mated with the GbX Twist daughter board upgrade module. This Twist connector reduces the size of the crimp pins and incorporates stranding in the signal terminals to reduce crosstalk.
