Insertion Latch The I-PEX AV-B series is equipped with an insertion latch. This prevents accidental detachment of the connector due to vibration and shock during drone flight.
Emergency Pullout On the other hand, the shape (slope) of the locking jaws is designed so that the battery can be immediately removed from the drone or battery even under abnormal conditions. In case of emergency, the power can be quickly disconnected by pulling the wire with constant force without disengaging the locking function.
Preventing Incomplete Mating The design to prevent incomplete mating can be visually verified for proper mating. In addition, the sound of the locking mechanism can be used as an auditory confirmation of complete mating.
Countermeasure against tilted insertionNo matter what angle the housing is inserted at, it cannot touch the internal terminals. This design prevents damage and deformation of the terminals due to tilted insertion.
In addition, we have increased the thickness of the housing on the front of the connector, which makes the housing stronger. This prevents the shell from cracking or breaking due to angled insertion.
Preventing Terminal Deformation The load receiver is located at the bottom of the terminal spring. This structure minimizes the load on the terminal springs in the event of a drone crash and/or collision. It prevents deformation of the terminal spring and maintains a stable power supply.
