AMPMODU 2 mm ConnectorsTE Connectivity Connectors Take Up 38% Less Space Than Traditional 2.54 mm Centerline ConnectorsTE Connectivity's AMPMODU 2 mm ConnectorsPhoto of TE Connectivity (TE)'s AMPMODU 2 mm (0.079") Connectors Reliable and economical, they meet the packaging and interconnection requirements of today's miniature precision electronics, taking up to 38% less space than traditional 2.54 mm (0.100") centerline connectors.The AMPMODU 2 mm wire-to-board receptacle assemblies are designed with pre-loaded discrete wire Insulation Disconnect Contacts (IDCs) that allow for quick termination without stripping the wire. Wires are available with manual or pneumatic pistol grip wire tightener tools for low implementation costs and ease of operation. In addition, the housing offers an optional detent latch for increased connection reliability.The IDC is an alternative solution to AMPMODU's 2 mm crimp snap-in products.
