Binder Group, a leading manufacturer of industrial circular connectors, has released a lot of products in its new range of molded M12-A buckle connectors. The new product adopts a hybrid design, providing a solution for single cable compatible power and signal transmission functions. The versatility and flexibility of the new hybrid connector makes it ideal for industrial indoor and outdoor applications in tight spaces that require simultaneous transmission of power and signals. These applications include sensors, actuators and camera systems, as well as motors, drives and control systems.

As standard, the new version of the connector has standard cable lengths of 2m and 5m, but it is also possible to customize cable lengths to Binder Group as needed. For PCB applications, the connection of power conductors to printed wiring boards uses immersion soldering technology (THR), and the connection of signal conductors uses SMD technology. These connectors can all be machined in modern reflow processes. 2. Practical application and further development of new connectors: The new connectors are designed for demanding outdoor applications. When paired, the connectors can be protected up to IP67 and operate at temperatures ranging from-25 °C to 85 °C. The threaded ring for the M12x1 standard thread is made of stainless steel, while an optional plastic threaded ring version is also available. Binder will also release a six-core version of the hybrid connector. The six-core is divided into two-core power supply (larger 16A) and four-core signal (signal transmission under shielding). This enables future power connectors to meet higher power requirements of 1kW and simultaneously transmit data at 100Mbit/s.
