Amphenol | Amphenol Connectors The DuraEV ™ connector product is a: Portable and stationary battery charging and discharging connector DuraEV ™ is a standard connector solution that provides two power and 4/6 signal pins with a patented contact system capable of carrying continuous currents from 15 A to 70 A. DuraEV ™ is IP67 rated in both mated and unmated conditions (IP cap on slot side) with finger protection, First Make Before Break (FMLB) power terminals, and a connector secondary locking mechanism (CPA) for secure locking. The connector is equipped with an IP cap on the slot side and an optional IP cap on the plug side to prevent foreign objects from entering. Pluggable 10000 times, 70 A continuous current, IP67 rating in mated and unmated conditions (IP cap on slot side), finger protection, mistake-proofing to avoid FMLB mismatch with power terminals, mechanical vibration compliance under additional load to IEC 63066 standards (rated current).
