Amphenol | Amphenol Connector The SuperPort ™ Safety Production Program + product is a: The main structure of the Amphenol UltraPort ™ SFP + interconnect system is a 20-bit hot-swappable I/O connector enclosed in a metal shield cage mounted on the main PCB board. The system supports 28Gb/s applications and is backward compatible with next-generation Ethernet and Fibre Channel applications. The UltraPort ™ SFP + connector has the same unique mating interface and EMI shielding cage dimensions as the SFP + miniaturized connector. Shielding cages can be used with different PCB thicknesses and assembly processes to provide cost-optimized connectivity for servers and switches. Connecting multiple INF-8081 compliant transceivers, this connector combines assembly, transmission, and reception in a low-cost, compact, and flexible form factor. The stacked version (2XN) comes with a double row of shielding cages and integrated connectors. Amphenol offers two-piece shielding cages in a variety of configurations with enhanced transceiver mating tabs, including crimp and solder tail versions. The electrical interface features one channel with a transmission speed of up to 28 Gb/s per channel.The UltraPort ™ SFP + connector has the same unique mating interface and EMI shielding cage dimensions as the SFP + miniaturized connector.The UltraPort ™ SFP + connector can connect to multiple INF-8081-compliant transceivers. The assembly, transmission and reception functions are integrated in a low-cost, compact and flexible structure.
