SMT Low Profile Printed Circuit Board Edge Connectors Keystone Electronics' SMT PCB Connectors are used to pass signals or power across the PCB Keystone Electronics These space-saving SMT connectors have a horizontal orientation for quick and easy setup and are therefore particularly suitable for use as an alternative option to parallel board-to-board or board-to-assemblies for power or signal transmission. These connectors are designed to provide ideal flat circuit connections for high-density, high-current PCB packages on power supplies and aluminum backplanes with minimal substrate faces. All PCB soldering methods can be used, including reflow soldering. Connectors are made of phosphor bronze with gold plating and are available in styles with male pins [part number 6100 (bulk) or 6100TR (tape and roll)] and female sockets [part number 6102 (bulk) or 6102TR (tape and roll)]. The female socket is equipped with side guide plates for additional reinforcement to minimize PCB movement during installation. All tape and roll parts are packaged to ANSI/EIA-481 standards and are compatible with most vacuum and mechanical pick-and-place assembly systems.
