M55116 Audio Circular Connectors Amphenol NEXUS 'M55116 audio circular connector family includes waterproof, polarized plugs and receptacles for audio circuits Amphenol NEXUS Technologies manufactures a full line of standard-compliant MIL-DTL-55116 audio connectors that can be used in military and commercial radio systems and intercom systems for ground, vehicle, airborne and naval communications uses. This connector family includes waterproof polarized plugs and sockets for audio circuits with a maximum voltage of 60 V and a maximum current of 0.5 A. Connectors use crimp sleeves or solder cup contacts. The rigid contacts in the plug connectors match the spring pins or spring-type contacts in the receptacle. In-line plugs and sockets come with wire stress relief. The socket is also available in a panel mount version.
