Press-fit ICMBel Magnetics Solutions ICMs for 1GBase-T Ethernet designs can reduce manufacturing costs using wave or reflow soldering during assembly The Bel Magnetics Solutions press-fit ICM family belongs to TRP and Bel Fuse and is for customers looking to reduce manufacturing costs using wave or reflow soldering during assembly. Inserting a press-fit ICM after the soldering process helps reduce the possibility of contaminants entering the connector and affecting performance. This series of ICMs can also be used for PCBAs greater than 0.150 "(3.81 mm) thickness, for which conventional pin lengths are too short to be properly soldered.
