Detection and judgment of burned-out wire harness faults

(1) Detection and judgment of the burn-out fault of the wire harness. In the circuit of the power supply system, the wire harness will burn where it is grounded. At the junction of the burned-out and intact parts, it can be considered that the wire is grounded there; If the wire harness burns out to the wiring part of an electrical equipment, it indicates that the electrical equipment is faulty.

(2) Detection and judgment of short circuit, open circuit, and poor contact faults between lines-the wire harness is extruded and impacted by the outside, causing damage to the wire insulation layer in the wire harness, resulting in short circuit between wires. When judging, you can disassemble the wire harness connectors at both ends of the electrical equipment and the control switch, and use an electricity meter or a test lamp to detect the short circuit of the circuit. -Open circuit fault of conductor, except for obvious fracture phenomenon, common faults mostly occur between conductor and conductor terminal. After some wires are broken, the outer insulation layer and wire terminals are intact, but the inner core wire and wire terminals of the wires are broken. When judging, a tensile test can be done on the conductive wire and wire terminals that are suspected to be broken. During the tensile test, if the insulation layer of the wire gradually becomes thinner, it can be confirmed that the wire has been broken. -The line contact is poor, and faults mostly occur in the connector. When a fault occurs, it will cause the electrical equipment to fail to work normally. When judging, turn on the power supply of the electrical equipment and touch or pull the relevant connector of the electrical equipment. When touching a connector, the operation of the electrical equipment suddenly works normally or abnormally, indicating that the connector is faulty.
