The CXP system contains 12 channels at a rate of 20 per channel
Gbps, with a total bandwidth of up to 240 Gbps. This brings CXP connectors beyond 100 Gigabit Ethernet IEEE 802.3 ba and InfiniBand CXP12x
QDR criteria. This connector also allows end users to use pluggable copper or fiber optics to increase system-level hardware flexibility. When connecting CXP transceivers, the low-profile CXP's 4.50 mm round fiber optic cable assembly offers superior fiber management characteristics compared to traditional flat cables.
