DSFP 56 G PAM4 SMT Connector Amphenol Communications Solutions' DSFP 56 G PAM4 SMT Connector offers multiple shield shroud configurations and multiple heat sink options Amphenol Communications Solutions' 56 G PAM4 DSFP SMT interconnect system offers dual high-speed lanes and operates on 28 Gb/s NRZ and 56 Gb/s PAM4 to provide 50 G and 100 G aggregated bandwidth solutions. It features two additional pins compared to the SFP and SFP + series, which enables it to have a second high-speed channel with the same connector form factor. The DSFP has the same unique mating interface and EMI shield dimensions as the entire SFP and SFP + shields. The connector is backwards compatible with SFP and SFP + blocks as well as 20-contact edge card-based transceivers. The crimp or solder tail version has a shield configuration with a two-piece construction and an enhanced transceiver mating tab.
