PQ50 Series High Power Connectors Hirose's PQ50 Series interface connectors combine a rugged high-power design with flexible user-friendly housing options Hirose's PQ50 Series rugged high-power connectors for industrial environments feature lightweight electroplated plastic resin or zinc die-cast housings and are rated up to 600V. These connectors have a highly reliable two-point contact design, which is beneficial in industrial applications with high vibration conditions, such as robotics, high-precision processing machinery, nanotechnology manufacturing equipment, wafer/LCD carrier machines, etc. These high-power connectors are also available in water-resistant versions. The PQ50W's IP65 rating is suitable for applications in harsh environments, including assembly and food processing. The PQ50 Series connectors feature a flexible coded key lock system to prevent mismating and support both in-line and panel mount interconnection options. Reliable side latches or interlocking levers/cams provide firm locking options with a clear and tactile click. The cable clamp design provides a minimum tensile strength of 98 N. The same female socket can support front and rear attachments, providing the flexibility and ease of panel attachments. The ground contacts connect to the board's resin housing, providing reliable grounding quickly and easily. Rated at 600 V and supporting NFPA79 compliant industrial machinery cables, the PQ50 ensures protective measures for industrial machinery to protect operators, equipment, facilities and construction in progress from fire and electrical hazards. The PQ50 Series operates from-40 °C to + 105 °C and is rated to 9 A per pin when using all 20 pins; In a single-pin configuration, the maximum current is 19A.
