The pre-lubricated contact cavity simplifies the connection of aluminum conductors and ensures that no maintenance of screw connections is required. These modules enable optimal conductor connections as each module is equipped with socket socket screws that apply high tightening torques to the screws. There are some guidelines that must be followed when connecting aluminum conductors. Aluminum starts oxidizing immediately after exposure to oxygen, so the oxide layer must be removed prior to installation because the layer is very hard and non-conductive. For aluminum conductors, only two types of wires are category 1 (solid) and category 2 (multi-strand) according to IEC 60228.
