Hirose Electric Co. Ltd. has introduced the FH12 series of FFC/FPC (Flat Flexible) connectors designed for electronic applications requiring high reliability and compact design. Packaged on tape and reel (TR), the series consists of 6-pin right-angle surface-mount connectors with a pitch of 0.50mm for a variety of FFC/FPC cables. The contacts are made of phosphor bronze and gold-plated to ensure excellent conductivity and long-term stability.The design features of the FH12 series connectors include Zero Insertion Force (ZIF) function to simplify the plugging and unplugging process, and a trigger locking mechanism to ensure a solid and reliable connection. With a rated voltage of 50V, a rated current of 0.5A and an operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, the FH12 series connectors are suitable for a variety of harsh environments. The shell material is polyamide (PA), which is high temperature resistant and has good chemical resistance, while the actuator is made of polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), which further improves durability.
