The KYOCERA AVX FloXY® 5655 Series Floating Plug Connector is a high-performance, rectangular connector for high-density board designs designed for surface mount (SMT) applications. The connector features a 40-pin contact with a pitch of 0.020" (0.50mm) and is available in a 2-row arrangement to meet the space and performance requirements of a wide range of electronic devices. The connector features a floating plug design that provides flexible mating for insertion and removal and reduces contact problems caused by assembly tolerances. The unique board guide and fixed solder tail design enhances the stability of the soldering process and ensures a reliable connection. The contact surface is gold-plated for excellent conductivity and oxidation resistance, extending product life. Stacking heights of 4mm, 6mm, 7mm and other options are available to flexibly adapt to different assembly needs, and the height on the board is 3.05mm, which is suitable for compact design.
