Hirose Electric Co Ltd's FH28 series is a high performance FFC/FPC (Flat Flexible) connector for compact electronic devices. Featuring a surface-mount right-angle design, the series supports 40-pin positions with a pitch of 0.5mm for FFC/FPC cables with a thickness of 0.30mm. The FH28 series is equipped with a rotary locking mechanism to ensure a secure and robust connection, and features zero insertion force (ZIF) for improved plugging and unplugging ease. The contacts are made of phosphor bronze and gold-plated to provide excellent conductivity and durability. The housing and actuator are made of halogen-free liquid crystal polymer (LCP), which provides good heat resistance and mechanical strength. With a rated voltage of 50V, a rated current of 0.5A, an operating temperature range of -40°C to 105°C, and a UL94 V-0 flammability rating, the series supports 20 mating cycles and is widely used in consumer electronics, industrial equipment, and precision instruments.
